I cried and screamed VERY mean things about Mr Schuester when he yelled at Blaine

That last look is so distrusting to me.

I feel like Blaine is slow to trust adult authority figures in general, and Mr. Schuester in particular. He respects them - like he respects everyone - but he doesn’t trust them. I think he heard too many stories from Kurt to trust Mr. Schuester, and he certainly doesn’t take his word as law in the way that particularly the last batch of Glee kids occasionally did. He certainly has never gone to Schuester for guidance and advice the way Finn and Rachel (and most of the old glee club) have. 

I feel like he had finally started to expect a level of respect, a voice in the club, (and dare I say protection?) from Schu after this season, and the shooting - and that that idea left him after the top conversation for good. Not only because he shot down the club’s ideas, but because he spoke so rudely to people who he was supposed to be protecting, like Unique and Sam. People who trusted him to listen. People who consider Glee Club their Safe Space.

I don’t think Blaine’s as easy to forgive as some of the other Glee kids. He’ll still respect Schuester. But he won’t be as quick to speak up with his opinion in the choir room. I think he’ll return to doing most of his leading in private - which I think the Lima Bean scene that’s coming up hints at.

Can the ND just pull a Warblers and have a council of seniors that make all the decisions? I mean seriously, they´ve proven they don´t need Will. He makes bad decisions and excludes them, the fandoms sick of him, and so are the kids.

Working off mostly the bolded comments, really, it’s worth noting that none of the current glee kids really go to Will for advice. When Finn substituted for Will, there were exchanges of advice (in both directions, from Marley to Jake, Ryder and Unique). Will interacts with very few of the newer kids. 

Which is why the last bolded comment is interesting, because Blaine in effect has basically done this. Maybe that’s why the image of the gavel is so important—it’s a carryover from Dalton. It’s a pretty nice symbol for unity and order, and for the idea that your voice will be heard (which is what Will gives lip service to in the GIFs above, but has a hard time consistently doing).

When I first saw this set of GIFs I kept thinking of other moments, like when Blaine voices frustration at Will re: Sebastian, or Will’s response to the Brittany debacle. Interestingly, both of those moments are related to two secret glee club events, both of which featured Blaine as lead instigator (or close to): the garage “fight” and the lip synching. Blaine’s other secret missions/meetings? The Thunderdome competition, “Shout,” his more recent undercover work against Sue, and in this episode, the regionals set list meeting. And WOW this list gets more and more interesting, doesn’t it? If that doesn’t tell you all you need to know about Blaine’s attitude toward Schue, or authority, regardless of how friendly he may act around that authority …

Yup .The year Will has a club filled with kids he largely ignored in order to help the more obviously driven (or avatars of himself) members of the club the year before and they completely ignore him.  Tina and Artie have been ignoring Will since early season 1 when he focused attention on every member of the club but them except on surface levels. (Put the club in wheelchairs but never try to do literally anything else to make areas more accessible for Artie and Will never figured out what to do about choreographing with Artie. The kids figured that one out.  And I know he told Tina he dressed like Kurt Cobain but so did literally 95% of teenage boys at the time Will was a teenager.  That’s what EVERYONE wore.  I don’t think Captain “Sailing by Christopher Cross is my jam” and “Busta Move is my all time favorite song” and “I wanted to be the next Vanilla Ice” was seriously looking to Kurt as the voice of his genertaion.) Sam never came to him when his family was homeless, turning to Quinn and Kurt instead. (And point, Kurt found out about that while he was at Dalton so it is possible Blaine was also fully aware of that entire situation)  He told Sugar she couldn’t sing and Quinn recruited Joe. Brittany always confused him.  So Blaine and Artie (the director and real power the kids respect) have formed an informal New Directions council because like hell they are going to let Will or Finn actually run this.
